We have an exciting project for all children in preschool through 4th grade! THIS Tuesday, March 14, 2023, from 5:00pm – 7:00pm, we will create beautiful quilted hearts as a random act of kindness.
We will join Linda Connor at the church for a quilting workshop to learn how to decorate, stuff, and sew hearts. Once completed, we will attach a tag that says, “I Need A Home.” Our plan is to ask the congregation to take a heart and hide it somewhere in their local community, spreading God’s love to those who find it.
If you are interested in participating or have any questions, please contact Beth Hixon at bhixon@elcsh.org. Even if you are older than 4th grade, we welcome your participation. The more, the merrier! We hope to see our church members working alongside the youth to create a positive impact in our community.
