Thank you everyone who helped and volunteered during VBS
Our Vacation Bible School took place last week, and we had a wonderful time. We served more than 60 kids this year, significantly increasing from last year’s numbers. We are finally getting back to normal! The children enjoyed traveling through six different stations, including snacks, music, Bible adventures, an Imagination Station (science), outdoor games, and a new favorite called Sticky Scriptures.
We gave each child who attended a copy of the complete Book of John, Bible buddy characters with our daily Bible verses, and many fun memories that will point them to Jesus.
All of this was possible because of the church’s support through donations of time, treasures, and talents to Vacation Bible School. The children raised money to provide clean water to children in Honduras, and we shared the good news by donating our sets to a small Spanish-speaking congregation in Houston that is also planning to host a VBS in Honduras. Praise God for providing this opportunity to continue sharing the gospel even after our event is finished.
Thank you to all our volunteers for their servant hearts before, during, and after VBS. A special shout-out goes to our high school youth who stayed to reset the sanctuary and put all the sets and decorations away.
