Expanding Our Ministry to the Hispanic Community

We are excited to announce a new and meaningful chapter in our ministry, partnering with Pastor Alfredo Gonzalez and the Vida Nueva Church to better serve our food pantry guests and the wider Hispanic community. This collaboration is a response to our ongoing mission to reach out to all members of our local community and provide not only physical support but also spiritual guidance.

Building Connections Through Worship and Service
Beginning in September, Vida Nueva’s congregation will hold worship services in our church building, aligning these sessions with our bi-monthly food pantry distributions. This will provide a welcoming space for those who have been hesitant to travel to other locations, bringing the worship service directly to them. These services will be held on September 14, September 28, and October 12, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Pastor Jeffrey Muchow is honored to preach at the first of these services.

Pastor Alfredo Gonzalez, a humble and dedicated leader, has been closely involved with the Vida Nueva congregation, which currently meets regularly for prayer services on Wednesdays, worship services on Saturdays and Sundays, and music education. His congregation is eager to volunteer and engage with the guests of our food pantry, building deeper relationships and creating a more welcoming environment for all.

Supporting Our Hispanic Ministry
This partnership represents a significant step toward creating a more inclusive ministry. In addition to worship services, we are exploring various ways to support this community further, such as integrating music education programs and providing opportunities for mutual learning and growth. Pastor Alfredo’s leadership and dedication will be key as we work together to serve both the physical and spiritual needs of the community.

We are grateful for the chance to collaborate with Vida Nueva and believe this new partnership will enhance our outreach efforts. Please join us in welcoming Pastor Alfredo and his congregation, and in praying for the success of this ministry.
