This past weekend, our Impact Youth Group Lock-In was an unforgettable experience! We were thrilled to host 32 youths from our church and school for a night full of excitement, team building, and bonding.
The event started with a trip to Activate Houston, where the youth tested their teamwork skills by engaging in virtual reality games. The activities emphasized collaboration and problem-solving, allowing our young participants to work together in a fun and immersive environment.
After the action-packed time at Activate, we returned to the church for the lock-in portion of the night. The youth enjoyed hours of fellowship, games, and laughter, creating lasting memories as they stayed up all night. The sense of community was strong as everyone came together to share this special time.
We couldn’t have made this event a success without the support of our parents. A special thank you goes out to those who helped transport the group to and from Activate Houston. We also want to extend our deep gratitude to Mr. Paul Wilke, who arrived bright and early at 6 a.m. to prepare delicious breakfast tacos for the entire group. His dedication and effort were truly appreciated by everyone!
Special recognition goes to Miss Brittany and Mrs. Hixon for their leadership and for surviving the sleepless night! They’re already looking forward to the rest of the fall season, filled with even more opportunities for fellowship and friendship.
