Epiphany Lutheran School was blessed to have 44 students compete in the District PSIA academic competition on Saturday, February 28, 2026. This event brought together students from 13 schools across the North Houston area for a full day of learning, challenge, and fun.

About six weeks before the meet, many of our dedicated faculty members and several parent volunteers began providing contest-specific coaching to help our students grow in confidence and skill. Their time and encouragement helped create a strong foundation for success.

That hard work paid off. Twenty-five of our students placed in their contests, and four students qualified for the PSIA State Meet, which will be held in early May on the campus of Texas State University.

Our State qualifiers are:
– Mallory (6th grade) in On-Site Drawing
– Emma (4th grade) in Art Memory
– Hannah (7th grade) in Ready Writing
– Harper (1st grade), alternate for State in Storytelling

We are proud not only of our students’ achievements, but also of the way they competed. They showed outstanding sportsmanship, kindness, and support for one another throughout the day, reflecting Christ’s love in both their attitudes and actions.

To celebrate and share these accomplishments with our church and school family, we created a large display board highlighting our many District PSIA successes. This display was featured during the Academic Showcase on March 5, 2026, giving our community a chance to see how God is using these experiences to engage minds, encourage hearts, and enrich the lives of our students.
