Lutheran World Relief (LWR) began its mission at the end of World War II in 1945, founded by compassionate Lutherans in the United States. Nearly eighty years later, LWR continues to extend a helping hand to families experiencing emergencies both globally and within the U.S., assisting them in rebuilding their lives.
