Epiphany Soccer Kicks Off the Season
Epiphany’s soccer team took the field for their first game of the new season on September 8th, traveling to Our Savior’s campus for an exciting matchup. The season opener had originally been scheduled for the previous month, but rain forced a postponement — making this hard-fought game well worth the wait.
Colton L. and Henry B. both found the back of the net, each scoring a goal for Epiphany. The team’s older students led the charge during the first half, setting the tone for the game, before the younger players stepped in for the second half to get their own taste of the action. The format gave coaches a great opportunity to experiment with new positions and see how the team’s lineup could work in different combinations.
This season’s roster reflects exciting growth for the program. Epiphany welcomed five new fourth graders to the team this year, along with five additional new players joining from across the other grade levels. Rounding out the squad are nine returning players, bringing valuable experience and leadership from previous seasons.
With a strong start on the books, we’re excited to see this team continue to grow and compete throughout the fall. Go Stars!
