On Sunday, November 8, representatives from Lutheran Church Extension Fund (LCEF) will be at Epiphany with a table set up between services. There’s no presentation, so stop by with questions or just to see what they offer.

What is LCEF? Since 1978, LCEF has served as the financial arm of The Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod. Members and congregations invest with LCEF and earn interest. Those same dollars are then loaned to LCMS churches, schools, and church workers at reasonable rates.

In other words, your savings can grow while helping build ministry across our church body. More than 50,000 individuals, congregations, and organizations invest with LCEF today.

What they offer:

  • Investments for every age: All Access accounts, Young Investor accounts for kids, term notes, retirement accounts, and health savings accounts
  • Loans for congregations: Building, renovation, refinancing, and ministry improvement projects
  • Home loans for church workers: for pastors, teachers, and other rostered workers
  • Ministry Solutions: help with capital campaigns, vision planning, and church property

Whether you’re deciding where to save, planning for retirement, or just curious how church extension works, this is an easy chance to ask questions in person. Look for the LCEF table just outside the Worship Center between the 8:00am and 10:45am services, or visit lcef.org anytime.

LCEF is a nonprofit religious organization. Its investments are not FDIC-insured bank deposits and are offered only by its Offering Circular in states where authorized.
