Epiphany Lutheran Church and School warmly invites parents, caregivers, and community members to our Smart Families Parent Education Night on Monday, November 10 at 6:30 PM. This engaging evening features Lauren Price, M.Ed., founder of Academic Independence, who will lead a lively session on how technology impacts children’s focus, independence, and executive functioning skills.
With over 20 years in education, Lauren collaborates with schools and families to promote healthy tech use and self-regulated learning. She will share practical strategies to help parents enhance their children’s executive skills, support academic success, and build healthy digital habits at home.
Smart Families partners with schools to create safer, more connected communities by understanding the effects of technology on children. The program empowers parents to set effective digital boundaries, promoting balance and well-being for all students.
Exciting incentives await—every student with a participating parent will enjoy a special Ice Cream Blast Party! Plus, attendees can win one of three $50 Visa gift cards in our event raffle.
Spaces are limited, so please RSVP to reserve your spot.
