Join the Daylilies for Service & Fellowship
Laughter filled the church library this past Wednesday morning as the Daylilies, Epiphany’s LWML group, gathered for chicken dominoes and pizza. Their fun project was a joyful reminder that fellowship is an important part of serving together.
“Our fun project, of course, is playing chicken dominoes and having pizza,” Marilyn Hildenbrand shared.
The Daylilies’ calendar brings together friendship and meaningful service. Their projects include packing school kits in October for Lutheran World Relief, preparing baking baskets for Cypress Assistance Ministry, hosting a soup luncheon for teachers in February, and visiting Epiphany’s seniors and shut-ins.
“It’s a fun time of doing something for others, but yet also having fun together,” Marilyn said.

Since 1942, the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League has proclaimed Christ, supported missions locally and internationally, and honored God through service. At Epiphany, the Daylilies continue that ministry with caring hands and welcoming hearts.
All women at Epiphany are invited to join—there is no age limit and no prerequisite beyond a willing spirit and a kind heart.
“We would love to have you come and join us,” Linda Brown said. “This is a wonderful group. You’ll have fun. You’ll do mission projects.”
The Daylilies meet at 10 am in the library on the third Wednesday of most months. Browse the LWML Dominos Fellowship 2026 photo gallery to see the smiles and laughter, then come experience the fellowship for yourself.
