Serve on an Usher Team at Epiphany
Looking for a simple, meaningful way to serve on Sunday mornings? Epiphany is welcoming individuals and couples to join our usher teams at both worship services.
Ushers serve in teams of four, and there are six teams that rotate throughout the year. Each team serves for a one-month assignment (the 10:45am service) or a two-month assignment (the 8:00am service), making it an easy and manageable way to get involved and support our church family.
Head ushers Gary Falkenberg and Dean Conner will provide all the training you need. You don’t need special experience or a long list of qualifications. The only requirement is that you are a young adult or young at heart and ready to welcome others with a friendly smile.
As an usher, you will:
– Collect the offering
– Gather prayer request cards
– Help guide the congregation during communion
– Offer directions and assistance as needed
– Have the opportunity to usher at all special services
This simple act of volunteering can have a lasting impact. You never know when a warm greeting or helping hand might open the door to a life-changing decision for someone visiting or returning to church.
If you are interested in engaging with our worship community in this meaningful way, please contact:
– Gary (for the 8:00am service) at gfalken908@aol.com
– Dean (for the 10:45am) at conner_d@sbcglobal.net
We would love to make an usher name-tag just for you and welcome you to the team!
