Vacation Bible School is just around the corner, and we have several exciting ways for you to get involved before the fun begins!

Volunteer Training Day — Friday, June 19th All volunteers are encouraged to attend our training on Friday, June 19th — even if you can’t make it for decorating! If you’re able to join us earlier, we’ll be decorating hallways and classrooms starting at 3:00 pm. Then at 6:30 pm, all volunteers should plan to meet in the community room for a light dinner and an overview of what to expect during VBS week. Volunteer t-shirts can also be picked up at this time. We look forward to seeing you there!

Decorating Sunday — June 21st Join us Sunday, June 21st after second service for pizza and decorating! We need all hands on deck to set up the sanctuary and put the finishing touches on our hallways and rooms. The more help we have, the faster it goes — and the more fun it will be! We would love to see you there!

Feed Our Volunteers! Last year we started a wonderful new tradition of providing lunch for our volunteers after each VBS day wraps up — a chance for them to rest and enjoy some well-deserved fellowship together. We’re doing it again this year and need your help! We are currently looking for meal donations on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Whether you provide a complete meal, part of one, or a monetary/gift card donation, it is all deeply appreciated! Meals can be as simple as a sandwich tray or as elaborate as you’d like. (A big thank you to Mark Hemple and his crew for already donating a BBQ lunch for Tuesday!) Current needs include sodas, bottled water, desserts, and meals.
